Jalgaon and Jeur dipped to 7°C, nearly 7–8°C below average, marking severe cold wave conditions. Pune (9.4°C), Nashik (9.2°C), and Baramati (8.9°C) also reported sharp drops.

The cold winds from northern India are responsible for this widespread chill. However, the cold spell is expected to ease in the next two days as wind patterns shift easterly due to developing weather systems over eastern and southern India.
