If you live in a city with severe air pollution, it may be advisable for you to purchase an air purifier. These are rather expensive gadgets which need timely maintenance, but can help you improve your indoor air quality.

Wearing an anti-pollution mask like FFP1 or N95 can help you inhale less pollutants. You will be well advised to stock on such masks in advance.
