Bengaluru is experiencing a record-breaking heatwave.

The temperature has reached 37.6°C, the highest in 8 years and the 3rd highest in 16 years. This is much higher than the usual April average of 34°C. There hasn't been any rain since January, making things even worse.

However, there's some good news. A weather system is expected to bring rain and thunderstorms to Bengaluru and the surrounding areas between April 12th and 14th, offering some relief from the scorching heat.
