A cyclonic circulation near the Strait of Malacca is set to develop into a low-pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea within 24 hours.

The system is expected to intensify further, moving toward the south-central Bay by November 25.

Its eventual track remains uncertain, but past November cyclones from this zone have impacted Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, and Bangladesh.
