Delhi May Experience Rain Soon

Delhi and NCR stayed dry, with no rainfall recorded at any observatory. Even nearby regions of Rajasthan, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh remained quiet. However, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh saw moderate showers in places like Dehradun and Sundernagar.

Day temperatures remained below normal 36°C at Safdarjung and 34.5°C at Palam.

A cyclonic circulation has shifted to northwest Madhya Pradesh, pushing the rain-bearing trough slightly south of Delhi.

Today may remain dry, but the trough is expected to realign near Delhi, bringing light, patchy rain between 8th and 10th May.
