Delhi NCR Witnesses Rain

Delhi/NCR experienced rain and thundershowers last night in two spells—at midnight and early morning.

Areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad saw showers with loud thunder.

Safdarjung recorded 4mm rainfall, while Palam reported 10mm.

The rain eased dense fog temporarily, but fog is expected to return tomorrow morning, affecting visibility, flights, and trains.

A fresh western disturbance on January 18 and an induced circulation on January 20 will bring another wet spell from January 21-23.

By Republic Day, rain may subside, but foggy and chilly mornings will persist, typical of the season.
