With no new system expected soon, the cold is set to persist across Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Resorts like Shimla and Manali are yet to see sub-zero temperatures and may have to wait until a fresh Western Disturbance arrives.

For now, dry, frosty winds will maintain the chill, occasionally turning the weather bitterly cold.
