The Temperature Radar: How to Read It?

The Temperature Radar shows all of India in red and pink. Do you know what it means?

How to get started:

  • Make sure you've got the latest version of the app.
  • TemperatureRadar is accessible in two ways in the application.
  • Click TemperatureRadar on the left menu. The map will open up.
  • The map can also be accessed through WeatherRadar's main page. Scroll down on the home screen and click Weather&Radar.
  • On the top right, tap the menu.
  • After you tap the thermometer icon, the map will appear in full color! Besides today's temperature, it shows you what's coming up over the next three days. Click the 'i' icon to find the temperature scale

A guide to reading the temperature radar

Colour Temperature Range What else should you do besides staying hydrated?
Light Red26°C to 30°CKeep hydrated when outside.
Red30°C to 35°CVentilate your room in the night by keeping the windows open.Dress light. Stay out of the sun as much as you can. When outside, wear a hat or scarf.
Dark Red/ Maroon 36°C to 40°C Stay inside during peak afternoon hours. Don't eat stale food. Hydrate with ORS. Don't sit in closed cars that aren't ventilated.
Violet 41°C to 45°C Don't go outside. Stay out of the sun at all times. Sunstroke is highly likely.

You just need to spot your city and the temperature, and then take the necessary precautions!
