Monsoon Update
Heavy Rain Expected Along South Konkan

The Southwest Monsoon has advanced quickly along India’s west coast and has already reached South Konkan, with its northern limit currently passing through Harnai in Ratnagiri district.

Heavy rainfall over the past two days brought 136 mm rain to Ratnagiri and 67 mm to Harnai. However, rainfall activity is now expected to weaken across Konkan and remain focused over Goa and Coastal Karnataka for the next few days.
