​Maharashtra is experiencing unusually high temperatures from the beginning of this year, affecting agriculture. In February and March, temperatures soared, impacting crops like wheat, jowar, and gram. The heat stressed wheat during grain formation, potentially reducing yields.

Similarly, jowar and gram faced challenges, with potential yield reductions of 2-3 quintals per acre.
