Mumbai and Delhi: Awaiting Winter

The expected seasonal chill is missing in Delhi.Everyone is eagerly waiting for the onset of winter

The first days of November have brought unusually warm weather to both Delhi and Mumbai.

In Delhi, temperatures are staying above typical November lows, with minimums around 17°C instead of the usual 15°C. The expected seasonal chill is missing, likely due to a weak anticyclone over Rajasthan, which usually draws in colder air.

Even early snowfall in Kashmir hasn't triggered the usual cool-down, leaving Delhi’s mornings misty and hazy, and both day and night temperatures consistently 2-3°C above normal.

Most Polluted Area

During November the most polluted area within Mumbai was the Bandra Kurla Complex

In Mumbai, the October heat persists, even though monsoon season has officially ended. Temperatures are forecasted to reach up to 36°C with high humidity, while today's Air Quality Index (AQI) shows a 'poor' rating.
