Mumbai continues to face hot and humid weather even as talks of monsoon onset over Kerala grow louder.

The city has not received any pre-monsoon rain during the last one month. Normally, Mumbai temperatures stay around 35°C in May, but the city crossed this mark on six days this month.

The highest temperature touched 35.8°C on May 11.

A weak weather system over the Arabian Sea and another likely system over the Bay of Bengal may soon change wind patterns along the Konkan Coast.

Light pre-monsoon showers are likely on May 28 and 29, with slightly more frequent rain expected by May 30 and 31.

Moderate showers may arrive in early June, bringing some relief from the sticky heat.
