New Forecast Helps Farmers Plan for Monsoons

Professor Elena Surovyatkina, a physicist from Russia, has proposed a new method using physics instead of traditional weather models. This method can predict the monsoon onset 40 days and withdrawal 70 days in advance, with successful testing since 2016.
