Pre-Monsoon Activity Takes Over

09:00 AM
17 March 2026

Weather Update
Pre-Monsoon Activity This Week

Northeast India will see intense weather, especially in Assam, Meghalaya, and nearby regions.

After an early March heat surge, weather conditions across India are now improving.

Heat wave conditions had affected Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Mumbai, with temperatures crossing 40°C unusually early. However, relief has set in as pre-monsoon activity increases.

North India’s hills have received fresh snowfall, especially in Himachal Pradesh, disrupting travel but boosting snow cover. More such activity is likely for the next week.
