If you're caught in an open field during a thunderstorm, you should crouch down and wait with your legs closed.

You should avoid certain things during a thunderstorm, such as trees, groups of trees, or wooden poles. Try to stay at least 10 meters away from them.

If you're in a forest, it's safer to be inside it where there are many trees than to be near a few individual trees.

You can use your mobile phone. It's not safe to take a shower or a bath during a thunderstorm.
