Rainfall is also possible across parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Southern states, including Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, may also experience scattered heavy showers. Recent IMD forecasts have indicated continued active monsoon conditions across several of these regions.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are possible in parts of central, eastern and southern India.

On the radar

Residents in areas receiving intense showers should watch for localised waterlogging, difficult travel and reduced visibility. Extra caution is advised during thunderstorms, particularly in open areas.
