Winter Rains Continue Across North

As expected, winter rains have lashed the Northern Plains. Light to moderate showers were recorded across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and Delhi. Overcast conditions will persist, with rains likely to continue through the day and spill into Sunday morning.

Cities like Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Udaipur also witnessed light rainfall.

By Sunday, the rainfall will shift eastward to Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, while reducing in Rajasthan and Haryana. Cold wave conditions will follow the rain, bringing freezing New Year’s Eve weather to North India.
