These herbal remedies provide you fast relief from these ailments and can be found and prepared in every kitchen. What is more - they have no side effects!

  • Milk & turmeric (haldi): A glass of warm milk with turmeric and a spoon of honey can do wonders to relieve the symptoms of common cold. Turmeric works as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that unblocks chest congestion and soothes cough. It is also known for its antibacterial quality.
  • Holy basil (tulsi): A few leaves of tulsi along with ginger and black pepper in your tea are very potent to treat fever, flu and sore throat due to tulsi's antibacterial and antifungal properties.
  • Ginger (adrak): Mix an inch of grated ginger with lemon and honey in hot water and enjoy the soothing effect in your chest. Ginger helps in treating infections of the respiratory tract by eliminating the bacteria and microbes.
