In Bengaluru, light rains have persisted for a week, with moderate showers on October 14, followed by heavier rainfall on the 15th.

The city recorded 66.1mm of rain, causing temporary flooding in some areas.

A depression over the Bay of Bengal and a cyclonic circulation near Coastal Karnataka are expected to keep the rains active in Bengaluru over the coming week, with occasional heavy downpours likely.
