Heavy to very heavy showers are likely in Chennai, Cuddalore, Puducherry, and delta districts through the next 24–48 hours.

Fishermen have been advised to avoid the sea as winds are expected to strengthen around the storm’s core.

Coastal and low-lying areas may experience waterlogging, while interior regions could see moderate rain.

Authorities are monitoring the system closely as it continues to move west-northwestward.
