Today, Safdarjung reported an even lower 5.6°C, nearly 4°C below average, though not enough to qualify as a cold wave due to rising seasonal norms.

A weak western disturbance is passing over Jammu & Kashmir, bringing cloud cover but no rain.

Slightly stronger winds may push Delhi’s minimum temperature down again.

Meanwhile, the typical winter fog remains absent, despite December usually recording 19 foggy days. Without rain, dense fog is unlikely soon, muting the winter feel in Delhi.
