Delhi Monsoon Withdraws on Time, Season Ends with Surplus Rain

Monsoon withdrawal begins in Delhi. Active system over Bay of Bengal to bring more rains in the coming days.

Delhi has witnessed the withdrawal of monsoon close to its normal date this year, marking the end of a season that delivered excess rainfall.

The national capital recorded more showers than usual, bringing relief from prolonged dry spells earlier in the season.

Weather experts note that the monsoon pattern stayed active longer, supported by frequent systems from the Bay of Bengal.

Currently, a fresh depression is likely to form over the Bay, which may bring light sprinkles to parts of East and Central India.

While Delhi shifts into post-monsoon weather, temperatures are expected to gradually rise during the day, with cooler evenings ahead.

The withdrawal signals a seasonal change across Northwest India.
