Delhi Records Season’s Lowest at 10.4°C

Delhi shivered through its coldest morning of the season at 10.4°C, about 4°C below normal, while the maximum reached 28.1°C.

Cities like Hisar, Ludhiana, Alwar, and Sikar also dipped below 10°C, marking a clear onset of early winter across northern plains.

The chill is driven by clear skies and cold, dry northwesterly winds from snow-covered Himalayan regions.

With no Western Disturbance in sight, these winds will persist, keeping mornings and nights cold and days pleasantly cool.

Temperatures may drop slightly further in coming days as the winter feel strengthens across Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and Rajasthan, signalling a firm arrival of the season’s first cold wave pattern.
