Delhi residents can expect relief from the intense heat as rain, thundershowers and dust storm activity continue over the region this week.

Over the last three days, daytime temperatures have remained around 36°C–37°C, nearly 4°C–5°C below normal.

Night temperatures have also stayed cooler than usual.

Light and patchy showers are likely on June 2 and 3, while rainfall, thunderstorms, dust storms and gusty winds are expected to become more widespread between June 4 and 6.

Some lingering effects may continue on June 7. Weather conditions are likely to improve from June 8 onward, with temperatures gradually rising.

However, no heatwave conditions are expected during the first ten days of June.
