Gujarat Monsoon Update
Depression Weakens, Revival Next Week

Heavy rains moved from Gujarat to Pakistan

A deep depression that pummeled North Gujarat, Kutch, Saurashtra, Bhuj, Kandla, and Ahmedabad has moved westward into Southeast Pakistan and weakened considerably.

As the system dissipates over Balochistan’s dry terrain, monsoon activity in Gujarat is expected to ease in the short term.

However, forecasters indicate a potential monsoon revival early next week with renewed rainfall likely returning to parts of the state.
