Gujarat and Rajasthan are also likely to receive widespread heavy rainfall. Mumbai and nearby regions have been put on alert for intense downpours, raising concerns of waterlogging and traffic disruptions.

There is a possibility that central and western parts may face prolonged wet conditions as the system interacts with existing weather circulations.

Farmers in rain-fed zones can expect a boost in soil moisture, while urban centres need to brace for possible flooding and transport delays.
