While current temperatures remain just below official heat wave criteria, conditions remain extremely uncomfortable.

Relief is on the horizon as a fresh western disturbance is expected to reach the northern hills on June 11. This will activate a cyclonic circulation over Haryana and Rajasthan, triggering dust storms, thunderstorms, and strong winds across Delhi between June 11 and 13.

Temperatures are likely to ease gradually after this spell.
