Several districts of West Rajasthan are experiencing drought-like conditions, raising concerns for standing crops.

No major weather system is expected over the northeast Arabian Sea, while the developing Bay of Bengal system may only reach northeast Madhya Pradesh and southeast Uttar Pradesh.

Isolated light rain may continue over Gujarat. Some scattered showers are also possible over East Rajasthan and eastern Gujarat during the first week of September, but widespread relief remains unlikely.
