Monsoon Weakens
Light Showers in Punjab, Delhi

The monsoon will weaken over Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi for the rest of August, with only occasional, short-lived showers likely.

August is typically the rainiest month, but a full monsoon downpour seems unlikely now.

Weather in Delhi

Both Punjab and Haryana have faced a rain deficit this season, with Punjab being the worst-hit in the country.

While some good rains in early August helped reduce this deficit, Punjab still has a 33% shortfall, and Haryana 16%.

Light to moderate rain may occur between August 24th and 28th, but significant rainfall is unlikely.
