Delhi and NCR witnessed light rain last night and early morning. Safdarjung recorded 0.5mm of rainfall, while the airport observatory reported traces.

Fog stayed mild to moderate, and visibility remained decent. Minimum temperatures touched 11°C this morning, while yesterday's day temperature was 25.6°C, unusually warm for January.

This month, typically the coldest, has been warmer, with an average minimum of 8.5°C so far, 2°C above normal. The lowest temperature of 4.8°C was recorded on 9th Jan.

The rain-causing system has moved east, and westerly winds will return. Moderate fog may reappear but won’t disrupt Republic Day celebrations.

Sunday morning is expected to be chilly at 7°C, with no more rain forecast for January.
