Rain Alert for North East

Heavy Rain Warning
Rain Alert for North East

The Southwest Monsoon has advanced into parts of Northeast India, including Meghalaya, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh, following the weakening of a depression over Bangladesh.

This system brought widespread rainfall to the region, easing pre-monsoon heat and supporting agriculture.

States like Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland are also likely to see good rainfall over the next few days.

While the core depression has lost strength, its remnants are expected to enhance rainfall in parts of West Bengal and adjoining Northeast India.

This marks a promising start to the monsoon season, especially for farmers and residents anticipating cooler, wetter days.
