A fresh western disturbance is expected to bring a change in weather across northwest India from 24 October, ending the recent dry spell in parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Light rain and snowfall are likely at isolated places on 24 and 25 October, mainly in the middle and higher hills. However, widespread rainfall or heavy snowfall is not expected.

Temperatures are already dropping in higher regions, with Tabo recording a minimum of just 0.1°C.

Meanwhile, parts of Haryana may receive light showers, while Delhi is expected to remain largely unaffected.

Travellers visiting Himachal Pradesh, especially higher mountain passes, should remain cautious as light snowfall could make roads slippery and reduce visibility. Weather conditions are expected to improve after 25 October.
