Rain Threatens IPL 2025 Opener

The IPL 2025 opener between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 22 could be washed out due to rain. There is a possibility of rain and a likelihood of thunderstorms in Kolkata. The rain is expected to last for around two hours in the evening, potentially disrupting the match.

The Indian Meteorological Department also predicts thunderstorms and lightning due to an anticyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal.
