Rajasthan’s monsoon has arrived early and is turning stronger across the state.

Both East and West Rajasthan have received much more rain than usual East at 135% excess and West at 77% raising flood risks in low‑lying areas.

From July 13 to 16, a low‑pressure system moving westward will bring heavy to very heavy rain, especially in eastern districts like Jaipur, Alwar, Ajmer, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar and Bhilwara.

Flooding alerts are in place. The weather will improve after July 17, with clearer skies expected around July 18.
