Rain Drenches Mumbai and Konkan Region

Mumbai has been inundated with unprecedented rainfall this July, recording 1543.7 mm by July 25, far exceeding the average of 840.7 mm.

The downpour is expected to continue for the next 3-4 days.

The Konkan region and Goa have also been hit hard, with heavy rains due to an offshore trough and cyclonic circulation over Gujarat.
