Stay Safe During Cyclone Midhili

Tropical Cyclone Midhili is expected to make landfall in Bangladesh in the early hours of November 18, 2023.

The cyclone is likely to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the region, especially to coastal Bangladesh.

The storm surge is expected to be up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) high. The cyclone could also cause flooding and landslides.

Cyclone Midhili will bring heavy rainfall to parts of eastern India, particularly the coastal regions of Odisha, West Bengal, Tripura, and Mizoram.

Red alert has been issued for Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura as heavy rains are expected.

The heavy rainfall and strong winds could cause flooding, damage to property, and disruption to transportation.
