Red Alert Issued in Multiple Districts in Rajasthan

Rajasthan is currently under a heavy rain alert, with moderate to very heavy showers expected from July 30 to August 1.

This intense spell is due to the combined influence of a monsoon trough, a low‑pressure area, and a western disturbance moving in from the Himalayas Eastern and central districts including Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Baran, Dholpur, Bundi, and several others, are most vulnerable to localized flooding, waterlogging, and traffic disruptions.

The IMD has issued red and yellow alerts for affected regions, urging residents to stay indoors, avoid travel where possible, and take precautions in low‑lying areas.

This spell offers relief from the heat but calls for caution as monsoon activity peaks across the state.
