Republic Day Weather Outlook

Weather on republic day likely to remain cold in the National Capital

Republic Day will be marked by cold and largely dry weather across much of Northern parts.

After the recent rain and snowfall, cold air will firmly settle over the region. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh will witness chilly conditions, with morning temperatures hovering between 2°C and 6°C, and pockets nearing the freezing mark.

Daytime temperatures will remain below normal, making it a cold Republic Day for outdoor events. Fog may develop during early morning hours, especially in low-lying areas, but visibility is expected to improve gradually.

Elsewhere across India, weather will stay mostly dry with a mix of sunshine and clouds, while air quality shows slight improvement in parts of North India.
