Typhoon Yagi Intensifying

Typhoon Yagi, currently intensifying in the South China Sea, is expected to reach Category 4 by Thursday before making landfall in Vietnam on September 7-8.

Although it will weaken after landfall, remnants of Yagi may form a low-pressure system by September 9, bringing heavy rainfall to northeast India.

What is a Typhoon?

Regions like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Meghalaya could face significant rainfall early next week.

Weather in your area?

There's a possibility this system may impact West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

Weather conditions remain uncertain, and updates will follow as Yagi develops. Stay tuned for further alerts.
