Uttar Pradesh Shivers under Biting Cold

Severe Cold Wave is ongoing in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is suffering through intense cold, gripping both days and nights with chilly wind and dense fog.

Cities like Meerut (1.5°C) and Ayodhya (2.5°C) recorded their lowest temperatures this season, 5-6°C below normal. Daytime temperatures in Agra (11.5°C) and Prayagraj (12.8°C) were also 10-12°C below average.

This bone-chilling situation is caused by cold winds flowing down from the Himalayas and dense fog trapping heat. Relief is unlikely for a week, with even colder mornings expected.

A slight improvement might come around the month's end, but dry and chilly weather will persist until early next week.
