What to Expect!
Will Heatwaves Return in May?

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says many parts of India may face more heatwaves this May.

Temperatures are expected to be higher than normal in central and northwest states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. Some places might experience 2 to 7 heatwave days.

This means very hot and dry weather, which can be dangerous, especially for children, the elderly, and outdoor workers.

People are advised to stay hydrated, avoid going out during peak afternoon hours, and take proper precautions.

The rise in heatwaves is linked to changing weather patterns and climate change. As summer continues, staying safe and aware will be important for everyone.
