Will Monsoon Be Affected?
Heatwaves Likely to Continue

India is set to experience a scorching summer with extreme heatwaves from April to June 2025.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that temperatures will be above normal in most regions, with more frequent heatwave days expected.

While the possibility of El Niño during the monsoon season has been ruled out, the heat is expected to be intense across states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, among others.
