Gujarat has seen strong pre-monsoon rain over the last three days.

Mahuva received a record 144 mm of rain, while VV Nagar got 89 mm.

Other areas like Baroda, Amreli, and Dang also saw good showers.

A weather system over South Rajasthan and Gujarat is bringing more rain, especially to Saurashtra and North Gujarat.

Heavy rain and thundershowers are expected on 8th and 9th May in North and Central Gujarat. Places like Bhavnagar, Amreli, and Ahmedabad are at risk.
