Dense Fog Dominate Uttar Pradesh

Dense fog and a strong cold wave have caused several vehicle pile-ups across Uttar Pradesh in the last three days.

On Monday, at least 20 cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Meerut, Gorakhpur and Agra reported very low visibility.

In Agra, the Taj Mahal was covered in thick mist, and visibility briefly fell below 10 metres.

Officials are urging drivers to slow down, use fog lights and avoid early morning travel.
