Arabian Sea Weather
When will Cyclone Tej Develop?

Cyclone Tej

A low-pressure area has formed in the Arabian Sea due to a cyclonic circulation near Lakshadweep. It's about 700km from the coast and may become stronger in the next 24 hours.

This system is moving west-northwest, away from India's coast. Clouds are forming around it, and the sea is warm, which can help it grow for a few days. Conditions are generally favorable for this system to intensify.

But here's the tricky part: it's unclear where this system will go. Some models suggest it might head toward Yemen and Oman, while others say it could turn towards Pakistan and Gujarat.

What do we know so far?

Sea temperatures are dropping in some parts, which can weaken the storm. Plus, the models aren't all in agreement, and the ocean conditions are complicated.

So, we'll need to keep a close eye on this for the next three days. There's a good chance it could become a tropical storm, the first one of the season, but we can't say for sure where it will go just yet.
