Odisha Braces for Three Days of Heatwave

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heatwave conditions in Odisha, with at least three days of intense heat expected this week.

Day temperatures are likely to rise significantly, crossing 40°C in several districts. Dry weather, clear skies, and strong solar heating will drive the mercury upward.

Interior parts of the state will be more vulnerable, while coastal areas may experience hot and humid conditions.

The rising temperatures may also lead to discomfort and health risks, especially during afternoon hours.
