Dense Fog Disrupts Delhi Flights

Severe fog in Delhi NCR disrupting air travel

Delhi/NCR witnessed dense fog for the second straight day, severely reducing visibility during early morning hours.

Palam Airport reported visibility as low as 100 metres between midnight and 9 a.m., though Runway Visual Range remained above 150 metres, allowing CAT-III operations.

No flights were cancelled, but nearly 200 flights faced delays due to congestion. Visibility has now improved to around 700 metres, with RVR rising to nearly 1,500 metres, and air operations are back to normal.
