End of Rainy Weather
Dry Days Ahead for Delhi

Weather Delhi

The national capital observed unusually contrasting weather conditions during March 2023.

Delhi usually starts with a day temperature of 27 degrees and ends up at 34 degrees, in March. The city breached 34 degrees in the 1st half itself and plunged to mid 20's in the 3rd week.

The 1st fortnight remained dry and turned unexpectedly rainy during the later half. The capital city and the suburbs witnessed untimely hailstorms in some pockets. Strong winds, thundershowers, and hailstorms damaged Rabi crops in Delhi/NCR.

The month of April started on a wet note. Moderate rainfall accompanied by lightning and thunder led to the usual waterlogging in some areas

Some puff of clouds may appear for a small duration but are unlikely to convert into showers. In the absence of any significant weather activity, plenty of sunshine will lead to a rise in temperature.

However, these are unlikely to shoot up and mostly hover around the low 30s. Maximum temperatures are unlikely to exceed the normal of 35-36 degrees in the first 10 days of the month.
