Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand experienced lightning strikes in the last 24 hours

Several parts of Odisha saw light to moderate rainfall on Wednesday evening, with drizzle continuing in Bhubaneswar until Thursday.

Light rain is likely in the next four days due to a western disturbance and a trough line.

An Orange Warning has been issued for Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sundargarh, Jajpur, and Dhenkanal expecting severe thunderstorms, hail, and winds of 40-50 km/h.

Yellow Warning covers Cuttack, Kendrapara, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri and Ganjam for thunderstorms and lightning.
