Drive Carefully
Heavy Rain Can Turn Roads Dangerous

Recent incidents across our cities show how quickly heavy rain can create dangerous driving conditions.

In Bengaluru, waterlogged roads and underpasses have left cars and two-wheelers stranded, with some vehicles breaking down after water entered their engines.

Delhi-NCR has also witnessed severe waterlogging, stranded vehicles and major traffic disruption after intense monsoon showers. In Dehradun, powerful floodwater was even reported pushing parked cars along inundated streets.

Drivers should never attempt to cross deep or fast-flowing water. Reduce speed, keep extra distance and avoid flooded underpasses.

Before travelling, check the WeatherRadar to track approaching showers and plan a safer route or departure time.
